How to Volunteer - Bicycle Across South Carolina

Do you consider yourself a S’more’s connoisseur? Snack enthusiast? Amateur baggage handler? Then we need your help!

Bicycle Across South Carolina is looking for a team of dedicated volunteers to help support our team in executing this event.

Anyone who volunteers will receive:

1 Free day to ride (Ex: 1 day of volunteering = 1 free day of riding)

Campsite
Partake in Nightly Activities
And the chance to be a part of a fun and exciting team!

Check In / Registration:
- Set-up Check in.
- Mark Parking Area.
- Check-in Registrants.
- Load up registrants onto Sprinter Vans.
- Give each participant a waiver, bib number, and contact form
Equipment Load In / Unload:
- Organize and pack luggage and bicycles onto truck.
S’mores & Hotdogs at the Campfire
Breakfast
- Coffee Served
- Breakfast Served
- Clean up breakfast
Lunch
- Serve lunch at rest stop
Rest Stop Management
- Serve & help manage Break Areas
Dinner Prep/Set Up
- Set- up for Dinner/ Tent/ Celebration etc.
Dinner Server & Activity Manager
- Serve Dinner, Beer & Wine, etc.
- Rent out paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, etc.
Dinner Breakdown
- Manage break down and clean up.
- – Prep coffee.
Campsite Breakdown
- Manage break down and clean up.

If you do not email me your preferred free riding day, we cannot guarantee you’ll be able to participate in the ride.
