Looking Back on 2019
In the inaugural year of Bicycle Across South Carolina, 74 riders took on 100+ miles through the Francis Marion Forest, along the dikes of Lake Marion and into the depths of The Knot at Poinsett State Park. The riders tackled trail, dirt, road and various terrains as they made their way across the state. Our first year brought together a community as both staff and riders ventured off the grid into the unique landscapes of South Carolina.
As we begin to plan for #BASC2020, I wanted to recap a few highlights from 2019 and give a shout out to the all the riders than stuck with us through the ups and downs of our inaugural year.
