Meet Rob Cline!
Rob and his wife, Laura, are avid cyclists from Greenville, SC. They both have joined us at BASC for the last two years!
What was your favorite ride?
I loved the gravel routes in McCormick.
What initially drew you to participate in Bicycle Across South Carolina?
It is a well organized, all inclusive event that focused on the rider experience.
What are some of your favorite aspects of the event?
I love the fact that every detail is taken care of! This allows the attendees to have fun and enjoy themselves without worrying about food, drinks or entertainment.
How would you describe the atmosphere and community among the riders during the event?
Everyone has a blast!
What are some things you like about our Basecamp set-up?
I love having a central location each day that is well laid out and meals are waiting.
Can you share a memorable moment or experience from one of the bike routes?
So many memorable experiences, but I think the Velodrome in Rock Hill was a highlight for me.
How has participating in Bicycle Across South Carolina impacted you personally, whether in terms of fitness, friendships, or memorable experiences?
I love the event, the people, and the opportunity to spend a long weekend, enjoying the bicycle and making new friends.
Would you recommend Bicycle Across South Carolina to others considering participating in similar events?
Absolutely. It is one of the best events of the year and we look forward to it all year long!
